    the reason pressure is high from a dealership/production is due to the fact it may sit on the lot for some time, if the pressure was too low, it could cause flat spots and tire damage. lowering the pressure to 31-33 PSI should have been done as part of the PDI and Delivery. dealership(s) are...

    The reason they were sitting with such high pressure is because from the manufacturer, they overfill the tires in anticipation of the vehicle sitting for potentially long periods of time without being driven.. it will keep the tires in better condition as flat spots won't form

    Best bet would be to find some police interceptor rims, and throw 245/60r18 tires on. Wayyy cheaper than trying to find winters for a 21in rim The police rims will fit with the street pack rotors on an explorer.
