Miracle My Engine Didn't Blow Up

By any chance did you pull the codes- I'd be looking for "P" series misfire codes, and possible something else related to the cause?

    ST and Torsen LS Differential

Take a look at the Platinum ST build thread here He started to do this mod and even (according to him) purchased the timberline diff. However he moved on to another vehicle.

Did anyone under 55 get the "Soylent Green" reference? ;)

Miracle My Engine Didn't Blow Up

Your engine will not "run rich" because your air filter was dirty, although a filthy filter will impact performance. You had better have that cylinder bore-scoped. I cannot see any way that amount of material exited via the exhaust valve and turbine without some damage. Most likely that...

Realistically, what should I be prioritizing?

Start with intercooler and ZFG tune. That alone will get you the best bang-for-the-buck. A completely stock ST (no intercooler, no nothing!) with a custom ZFG tune put down 440WHP and 497 WTq on 93.

    HPFP W/O Injectors?

The only reason an aftermarket fuel pump will add HP is if your power is limited by fueling- which requires larger injectors and the extra volume of the new pump. Unless you're planning to run high percentages of ethanol a pump and injectors is not necessary. If the aftermarket pump can support...

Best tune for 2020 Ford Explorer ST

I would NOT volunteer my car to be the guinea pig for this. Consider how it's achieved: On deceleration, when we want to enable this "feature", the tuner in effect must introduce unburned gasoline and air into the turbine or catalytic converter so it ignites, creating the condition. It can be...

"Space GhoST"- single turbo ST build

My ST is about to be gone. Don't get me wrong, it's been a good vehicle as I have not experienced the problems that many on this site have complained about. When I first bought the Space GhoST in January of '20, I planned on modding it my way- very sleeper, but with a single turbo build...

Power Gains from Nostrum Stage 2 Kit without Upgrading Turbos?

Given your upgrades, for an e50 tune, you shouldn't need to add the Nostrum setup. Expect an additional ~40hp on e50 with your current setup. If you upgrade to the larger turbos, you'll need the bigger pump for ethanol.

    Drive train Fluid Changes

It makes absolutely no difference to the diff from being in either park or neutral. Most likely the service manual writer copied this from another source.

Eibach Pro-Kit Springs- Available at Lethal Performance!

Eibach has released their Pro Kit with a 1.3/1.6 front/rear estimated drop while withholding Eibachs standards for drivability and comfort! Too bad they decided to withhold their standards for "drivability".

Black and blue screen for camera all the time

I'm wondering if the Honda uses the same supplier as Ford https://www.cbsnews.com/news/honda-recall-pilot-passport-odyssey-backup-camera/

    Ford Performance Tune

None of the parts you added will add HP to the FP tune. The tune cannot "learn" anything like that.

    10R60 Transmission

Any mechanical or electrical device has certain tolerances, so it's not a stretch that there would be differences between vehicles. My original point was that I doubted fluid had anything to do with the problem and that it was due to either clutch slippage, or software intervention. If it's...

    10R60 Transmission

It's anecdotal that " there are other STs making MUCH more power without this issue". The software that would inhibit torque to preserve the trans would be based upon measured torque, not HP. And if I were involved in the programming to save a transmission to limit warranty requests, I'd also...

    10R60 Transmission

What tune are you running? Are you losing traction (wheelspin) when you do these launches? The very fact that it returns to working fine once the torque is decreased, in my mind, and applying some rigor to the analysis, says that either the software is limiting the torque or that the clutch...

    10R60 Transmission

It's not a guess. This is well documented in the service manual and there are other threads on this site which document exactly the behavior you describe. And even with the traction control system "off", the software will still intervene in certain circumstances. The only "guess" on the...

    10R60 Transmission

As has been written in numerous other posts, the 10R60 has an integral clutch in the torque converter. So, it's not your 30 year old torque converter. Which means, you could either be exceeding the torque capacity of the clutch (slippage), or the software is purposely limiting the torque by...
