    400A vs 401A package... Confusion when building a 2022

Interesting, even the ST-Line came with the 12 speaker B&O. Ford undercutting a bunch of dumb things. System isnt the best but I like it and enjoy it.

    400A vs 401A package... Confusion when building a 2022

Really? No B&O? I thought it came with the 12 Speakers B&O. Wonder if its the XLT speakers

    400A vs 401A package... Confusion when building a 2022

Adaptive CC and Intelligent CC are two different settings. Intelligent is the worst one, cant read the signs properly or misses them altogether. I enjoy Adaptive CC, have it on the lowest setting for car distance and works pretty great overall.

I bought a 400a and now I have no camera or nav but I saved 4k can I add

IDK I love all the tech crap on mine. But like someone else said, just use AA/AC, better navigation and UI overall vs Sync 3. Sync 3 is one of the worst part of the Explorer.

    Rear end damage

Well good to hear that they at least replaced it with the "proper" part. Hopefully Ford adds it as a recall or extended warranty for this particular "issue". Would suck years/miles down the road and the 1 bolt breaking on a 21 ST outside the warranty and Ford doing nothing to repair it.

Those are the only trims that offer the 3.0.... Unless there's a new trim that we're not aware of?

    Backup Camera on Larger screen

Interesting, link? Im hopping they also fix the android auto/carplay full portrait display. Subaru did it for Apple Carplay and looks much better.

    Rear end damage

Now im curious as to what subframe the 2022 model's will have especially considering all 3.0l's will come with ST's tune. Wonder if there were any 21 models with the 2 bolt rear, im sure the 2 bolt rear subframes didnt just magically end for the 2020 models. I see this becoming a bigger issue...

    Rear end damage

Might be Ford's way of catching modders easier? Seems like its been more common with people who are tuned. I think only one person with a stock car had this happened to them but that was due to towing with the sensors on I believe.

    Catalytic converter

They'll be doing a ton of ST owners a favor, easier to run a straight pipe haha

    10r80 swap

Isn't there currently a high 10 sec ST with over 600whp with a level 10 tranny?

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

If thats the case, IMO, I would take the F-250 with the 7.3. Bigger gas tank too! Any type of towing situation, you wont have to worry with it and in any weather as well. Surprised you went with the ST seeing that you dont really use it as an SUV, with the passengers that is. If the pricing...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

Interesting, didnt think it was that much of an upgrade for different gears. Just noticed the 7.3 is only available with 3.55's and 4.30's, wouldve been nicer with a 3.73. But alas, wouldnt complain either way haha Wonder what is the difference in mpg when towing for the F-250 vs the 5.0 F-150...

Thinking on trading ST for F150 or F250

LokiWolf just traded his ZFG tuned ST for a PowerHybrid F-150 with no regrets. IMO, I would go for the Godzilla F250 if you ever consider towing something big and/or heavy (10k+ lbs). The Godzilla engine sounds amazing tho and overall, its a beautiful truck! Are the 4.30 gears the only option...

2022 Ford Explorer Adds the ST's 400-HP V-6 to More Trims

Suspension is tweaked differently on the ST as well and you been able to get different brake options since when they were first released.

    Well this is interesting

The bench seat on the 20+ are actually usable for 3 people especially the middle person. Much more comfortable, roomier and wont leave a gap in the middle when you flatten the seats down.

    Great to be here

Ton of Luxury cars have no dipsticks for their engines..... Been like that for years

    2023 Refresh?

Not only that, so far every year, Ford is removing stuff from the Explorer. 2020 had all the bells and whistles, 2021 removed the glove box and arm rest light, front washer, removed a bolt from the rear end, made it single bolt. 2022 removed the center floor console on captain chairs and who...

    Noises, glitches, problems

There's a recall for the blue screen that's supposed to fix it.

    2023 Refresh?

Far as a major facelift, highly doubt it, thats usually a 4-6 year change. Minor? Possibly, maybe just a grill change and new bumper at most. Considering there are still a ton of cars that were halted, I really doubt there will be a minor one as well. I dont expect the new Android console till...
