my comute to work is about 11miles on the highway. I get around 16-17mpg according to the dash. I do drive that 11miles at like 80-85mph.

Thanks for the reply, forgot I had one of those pumps stashed away. Here is the oil I just pumped out, its a half gallon bottle about 1/2 full so 1qt. Stopped there and left the other 1/2qt or so. The dipstick oil looks clean but this came out really dark.

Was it a full fluid flush? I asked my local dealer about it and they told me its not something they are willing to do.

There was a post here awhile back, the dealer kept unplugging the AS elim when brought in for service.

Sorry, I have always called downshift ie... going 4 to 3, for higher rpms ect. To explain it better, lets say I was in 4th. It would not shift to 5 with full pedal and just revved out, and would not go back down to 3rd while sitting at 5-6k RPM for about 200 yards.

Def not just sport mode. If I had to guess I was in 4-5th and it would not upshift, even with gas pedal floored.

Thanks, We pretty much only drive is sport mode so I will have to run normal and see if it still happens.

While on the highway and in sport mode, the ST will randomly hold a gear (not sure what gear) and just rev. It will not upshift on its own and will only downshift on its own after coasting for awhile. It has happened to me and the wife once each. Could the fluid be low? I would prefer to avoid...

I have wondered about the angle of the mounting point for the end links, AFE is straight, and Steeda is angled. Not sure if it even matters. I do like the AFE mounts better though.
