    Battery replacement? UGH

I haven't tried that one but a 4 year free replacement is pretty good. At the shop I worked at we sold Interstate batteries for years with no issues. We switched to AC Delco and almost every battery we sold was returned for warranty, with Ford batteries only the more expensive Platinum batteries...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

I installed a new Interstate battery, I didn't have any starting issues but the stock battery was shutting electronics off way to fast. My better half would leave the hatch open while unloading groceries and the lights would shut off within a few minutes. Also I couldn't shut the truck off if I...

21 x10.5 rim offset questions and opinion on 22 x10.5 sidewall versus ride quality

I'm using the same tire and only noticed the inside rear tire starting to spin on a right hand cloverleaf on-ramp, but that can be attributed to the amount of torque these things make and no loss of control was ever felt.

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

They're not too much stiffer around town, you notice them more when you hit larger bumps. They stiffen up pretty quick, but they're definitely softer on this platform. I had a set on my 2018 and they were stiffer on that.

Lowering Springs: Lethal, Eibach, Steeda, H&R PROS and CONS

I also love my H&R's, but I haven't tried any other spring on this platform so I can't compare to others. Has anyone confirmed the H&R's bottom out? I only saw one post where the ST was driven over speed bumps without slowing down, and the OP stated a clunking noise was heard and never confirmed...

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

No probs! Yes their place is beautiful, just outside of Salida with some acres on the side of a mountain.

    Lowering Springs Pros and Cons

I had no issues driving to my mother's house on a 5 mile dirt road in Colorado, including a couple of cattle guards, I'm using H&R springs.

    Steeda Rear Sway Bar

I initially installed using the center hole, but recently moved it to the stiffest (inner hole) setting and am very happy with it. If I did it again I would only use the stiffest setting, the handling is so much better. Also I'm using H&R springs.

    Spring Compressor

I used these to lower both of my explorers, no issues: https://www.amazon.com/OTC-6494-Clamshell-Spring-Compressor/dp/B0002SRHU6/ref=sr_1_1?crid=3V6IKUNFGYRPH&keywords=otc+strut+compressor&qid=1697593429&s=hi&sprefix=otc+strut+compressor%2Ctools%2C147&sr=1-1-catcorr

    Eibach finally in the game

Nice! I look forward to hearing your thoughts after a little driving, I had Eibach's on my Mustang and was happy with them.

    Ford Performance Tune

I don't remember who I spoke with, but I called Ford Performance and they set up a callback. The tech had me allow him to log into my laptop and he reloaded the stock and performance tunes back onto my tuner. But I checked it a couple of weeks ago and all is erased again, so I will have to call...

    No alternator output at idle?

Sometimes the voltage at the DLC can read lower than the actual battery voltage, and the charging is computer controlled. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless you start having other issues. Hopefully Livernois will have a similar answer.

    Steeda Subframe bushings

I installed these bushings today, it took about an hour and a half wheels up to wheels down. The bushings fit perfectly and the install went smooth since Steeda's instructions were spot on. I did remove the rear wheels for more space which makes the install much easier. I recommend leaving one...

    I'm Impressed!

All good info, thanks for sharing. That's very correct the turbo will not spin much at idle, but I was more referring to many kids I've seen racing into a parking lot with their import racers then perform a WOT snap to hear their BOV. Then shut the key off and and get out to go into store, I...

    I'm Impressed!

From what I understand is turbo timers were used to keep the engine running so the oil supply is not cut off while the turbo/s were still running at high RPM. These things run at very high rpm and if you shut the engine off the is no lube for the the bushings/bearings, the timer allows them to...
