    Wheel brush recommendations?

ABN Wheel Woolies. They are alittle pricey but definitely the best I have ever used to clean the barrels. They are sold on Amazon in a 3 piece set, I only use the large one for the barrels and the medium and small to clean the front grille. Not implying they are the best, just they have been the...

    Front Differential

Hey guys, Happy New Year… I wanted to ask if anyone has had to have the front differential replaced due to bearing or gear failure? I have not seen anyone mention this before that I can find or remember, also that I don’t think it is a common issue. My ride started making a knocking/weird sound...

    Vibration/knocking noise under passenger seat

Looks like you got it, I hope that’s all it was. These vehicles do have some “Normal” strange noises and when you encounter a noise that’s not normal, it’s a good feeling when it turns out to be an easy fix. Good find man!

    Vibration/knocking noise under passenger seat

One thing you can try… if you know any mechanics or techs. You can use “chassis ears” to help pinpoint the noise while driving.

    Vibration/knocking noise under passenger seat

The noise on mine is under acceleration and decelerating now… I forgot to mention that, it did it under acceleration last Monday and that’s why I decided to drop off that day just to get it checked. You issue could be something else, Hopefully, although I thought the noise it was making was...

    Vibration/knocking noise under passenger seat

I listened to the noise your wife’s ride is making and while it doesn’t sound like what I am currently l, the fact the noise presented it’s self while decelerating and or normal braking. I noticed a Banging/clunky noise starting about 2 weeks ago while decelerating and applying the brakes, my...

    Wheel weight glue

Thank you both for the advice, I realized I have some of the adhesive remover on my work truck so I will give it a try. I went ahead and ordered an eraser wheel and if needed will try it, 12 dollars from scamazon.

    Wheel weight glue

Hey guys, I just had all four tires replaced yesterday and will be washing the vehicle this evening but need to remove the old glue from the wheel barrel and wanted to know if anyone has a good way of doing that? On previous vehicles I could use basically anything I wanted but now I don’t want...

    Tune and Borla Stype exhaust

Well that sucks, I am on my third resonator from them. This one I could tell it was solid… my bro is on his second. Oh well, still sounds good and I can deal with the fibers when I decide to put the tune back on. Thanks for the response MikeyP.

    Tune and Borla Stype exhaust

Hey guys, hope this post is in the correct sub. I have a tune from 5star and a Borla cat back Stype …. Yeah yeah, don’t laugh too much bout 5star. I have kept the Explorer on the stock tune all year so far and have not had any of the fiberglass fibers blow out of the pipes. Now, my brother has a...

    Balance exhaust

Maybe the design of the passenger cat converter is less restrictive than the driver’s side cat?

How do you dry your washed car?

DI is the way to go for spot free… the main reason I use mine for the whole wash process is that my driveway is in a North-South orientation and I can’t get away from the sun unless it’s super early or very late and that’s too much of a hassle… the only issue I have had is the Soap drying on the...

How do you dry your washed car?

I have a DI tank that I use to wash and rinse, once I am done with the “Final” rinse I use a battery powered leaf blower just to knock off the bigger beads of water and that’s it… I got tired of fighting water spots and bought a 1/2cuft dI resin tank and it is worth every penny. At 170 tds tap...

    Spark plug change

Hey guys, I was about to replace the plugs in my 2020 as they are the original with 50,000 miles on them. I picked up a set of Motorcraft from the dealer “part SP-594” and I noticed this thread and basically the NGK plugs are the ones most recommended. My question is about the temperature range...

    Sport Mode rattle

TBH… it sounds more like a slight grinding noise rather than a rattling when in sport mode… not loud

    Sport Mode rattle

It is normal, it’s the transmission fluid pump increasing the fluid pressure for Sport Mode.

I've got a Check Engine Light

Peterfor, you are correct on safety, although chamber was clear and empty mag… I just had it on the bench ready to clean and needed a light to show the valve, my overhead garage lights are lackluster on output. Gearhead… thank you for that info, it has kinda bugged me but overall, it fires...
