Obviously not an Explorer but you get the idea, no reason a similar setup couldn't be done to test this theory....

I had a rear fog light on my Jag I thought it was weird but they are big in Europe..... Ironically I did not have front fog lights.....

Is the Explorer a traditional 12 volt system or does it have a hybrid 48 volt system mixed in?

Before I had mine replaced I looked on some of the Ford parts websites and I don't remember the price being to crazy?

Should be under warranty? They replaced one of mine under warranty.

Aside from the minor first world problem of a website not being up to date with the correct info, why does it matter? They are never going to make the system better we have what we have and you will always find out about a new release on the forums or facebook anyway.....

At least you can check the fluid, anyone that had an Edge or Taurus knows the levels of Fords stupidity with "lifetime" fluids in transfer cases..... Yeah I put a couple of those drain plugs in over the years.....

I did this same upgrade and we have the B&O system, you are own your own for mid range replacements but the tweeters and woofers alone are night and day difference.

When I dropped off my samples this week to Blackstone labs I asked if they saw a difference in oil types for the EB 3.0 and they said nope....

I was down a quart after 6k miles, first time that's happened in 33k miles. Was going to try an extractor next instead of draining the pan to see how much I get out.

Background on my issue, our garage is level and it only happens on a cold start. If the car has been sitting for a few hours there is zero smoke. The dealer blamed it on the Thermal exhaust said water was accumulating causing the smoke (my smoke is always blue), if that is the case why does it...

And they are blaming the Thermal exhaust because water builds up which causes the BLUE smoke....
