    New engine/exhaust drone

Don't forget the catalytic converter recall/TSB due to cracks. I've had this replacement done once already at about 35K miles.

    Sync

From my expierience the wifi in my driveway takes hours and days even to complete the update. A USB download and install takes less than an hour total based on mutiple updates since 2020! I gave up years ago on trying to auto-update and install over wifi. Just log into your Ford Owner account...

Sounds like the software issue I had last year. Loss of memory and settings. Simply update to 23188 and your problems should be solved! I went through this April to September of last year until the new software came out in early September.

Rear Differential Replacement at 51K Miles

Here is an update: Picked up my ST today and it drives like it did over 4 years ago. Like a different car. It had been deteriorating for a long time and finally after the front and rear axle repairs and transfer case replacement, it drives like new! Here is the work they did:

Rear Differential Replacement at 51K Miles

An update on my service: After a week at Sheehy Ford, I was told the differential was replaced today. After a test drive and further diagnosis, they determined that it also needs a new transfer case, which was already in stock. They said there was more shaking and shuddering while driving. He...

    Weird jerk under decel

If it's an abrupt 6-7th gear upshift or downshift, then it's what I had at 25K miles which required a TSB to rebuild it something about the A-clutch clamp or braket.

    4WD Fault

I know from my experience and what my service advisor said, the code determines the fix. To the driver, the messages are all the same but one code, which I had, was for the half-shaft speed sensor. Then the second time, they did the FADA delete TSB, based on the code I had. At the moment I'm...

Safety Recall 22S27 Rear Axle Bolt Fractures

My 2020 with 51K miles is having the differential replaced this week under powertrain warranty. Mine was driving really poorly last few weeks. I did not see any oil leaks in my driveway.

Rear Differential Replacement at 51K Miles

I've never had to pay anything out of pocket and my dealer has mostly been great. With all the major components being replaced since the first year, it's like getting a new car every other year! LMAO The only thing that hasn't been messed with is the engine! Now front and rear axles will be new...

Rear Differential Replacement at 51K Miles

This advisor at Sheehy never tries to add on anything. I've used him more than others and he thinks I need both. i told him I'd do neither based on my track record of problems, I may cut my losses sooner rather than later. Powertrain warranty ends 12/4/24 and ESP ends on 12/4/26. I have $1000...

Rear Differential Replacement at 51K Miles

I took my 2020 in to the dealer service dept. yesterday to have the rear axle checked for hesitancy in acceleration, bounciness and jumpiness. They let me know that the rear differential needs to be replaced under Powertrain Warranty, due to something loose or broken inside. The repair will take...

    Auto Lock on exit!

Whenever I think I forgot to lock it, I use the app to lock remotely. The app is dumb because it should have a graphic display saying locked or unlocked before you press and hold the button.Instead you have to lock it again even if it's locked.

Whistle sound when pressing on the gas pedal

This may be happening to me at 52,000 miles! My rear axle/suspension feels bouncy and feel resistance and shaking from the back.

    Expended Warranty

I searched several dealers back in November 2022 and the one I got was the cheapest in the country. It was not negotiable but was discounted at the time.

I don't see anything saying saying Signature Assurance on my documents. That must be a different type of contract. Mine was from a dealer online application and paid $1525 for 84 months/85K miles $100 deductible and first day rental with pickup/delivery service. I have 2.5 more years left on it...

    Rear End Failure

After having the front CV axles/boot replaced, then the front axle disconnect actuator TSB, now my rear axle is lumpy, bouncey and noisey. I feel like it bounces more over bumps, acceleration is kind of lumpy, I'm gonna have the entire rear end, axle, differential and shocks inspected. I really...

I never heard of that deal. Is that on all ESP's? I have 7 year/85,000 PremiumCare Ford Protect.

The whole point of buying a new or newer car is to have warranty protection. That's why they cost more than old cars with expired warranty. So I respectfully disagree with this. In my opinion, the qualtiy of the diagnoses and repair depends on which dealer you take your vehicle to and whether...

    Expended Warranty

I purchased a 4 year ESP for about $1500 1.5 years ago. I have yet to use it but still glad I got it. Every repair since then has been under powertrain warranty or recall/TSB so totally free of charge.

Amazing you were still on your first battery! My first one lasted about 19 months or 17K miles. Now I've been on the second battery for about 34K miles or 3 years.
