Sounds like dealers trying to rip off a foriegn customer. If so, this needs to be addressed to Ford Customeer Service. Where are the dealers?

Has anyone done at home touch up repair on the rim with some sanding, grinding and finding the correct code gloss black?

If it is warranty part replacement, there is no service or parts charge, so how is there a tax charge on a zero charge item? Sounds fishy to me.

Your dealer service department will have the information. I gave up keeping track of all the recalls and TSB issues and had them check. They did, inspected my ST for a number of issues, ordered parts and a couple of months later got parts and fixed everything over two days in shop. All...

One interesting item is that along with the back up camera blue screen repair, a number of other alert messages, mostly regarding transmission status (would only run in normal mode default), collision alert, and some others, the repair made the auto tans shut off at stop lights not activate...

Just had mine on the 2020 St replaced at no charge under warranty. Fairly common issue due to design and frail plastic materials.

So far so good on repair but it has only been a month. For a couple of weeks the warning screen on the dash would still come on when going to reverse though the back up camera screen worked. However, the warning sreen on the dash no longer pops up and camera still works fine. I have no idea...

Definitely beyond my pay and skill grade.

I sometimes use a fast charger plugged into the ac outlet on the back of the console. I put the phone on the console or passanger seat. Works well. I could get a phone bracket that places in cup holder as that might make it easier.

My floding Galaxy Z Flip3 fits nicely folded in wireless charging pad.. Sorry, no IPhone folding phones for those who are Apple compulsive.
