    Fuel Inlet Issue

I just replaced this myself on Tuesday. I cleared the code and all is well. Between advice on here and YouTube, I struggled a bit, but got it done. I replaced with the best one Napa has and the design of the replacement seems better than OEM. If it does go bad again, the Napa brand will be...

    P0420, P0430 Codes

...id post to see if anyone had any similar issues or anything to point me in the right direction. Hoping its just the 02s, I'm going to bring it to my garage to have them take a look as well. Side note I did just replace the purge valve last weekend but I doubt that has anything to do with it.

COBB Accessport - Goosetuned Tuning thread

...I'm stoked! I believe it's been tuned before I bought the ST since I got it used. I can see the gear number while in normal mode and all. I have thrown an emissions code twice for the purge valve. Had it replaced by ford and it came back. Would that have anything to do with a not so great tune?

P-0455 - Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system, gross leak.

Like others stated its probably the purge valve, I just replaced mine a few days ago, little pain in the ass to do but not too bad.

P-0455 - Evaporative Emission Control (EVAP) system, gross leak.

I wouldn't doubt if its the evap purge valve. There's other threads with other codes this thing can cause.

I've got a Check Engine Light

With the experience of having removed it once, how much time do you think it would take you to replace it a second time? Would there be any advantage in taking the strut tower brace off or is it helpful to leave on so that you can lean on it?

I've got a Check Engine Light

...Disconnected the front connections (as others suggested I used the front green clip for practice bc there is one on the back of the purge valve that you will also need to disconnect). Undid the four bolts - these are for two brackets, not just one. Struggled thru getting the back part...

I've got a Check Engine Light

I am replacing the purge valve and cannot seem to get the electrical plug to come off. This is the last piece since all of the green tab (3) parts were able to be removed. Thanks

Check Engine Light during vacation, please help

If the car is running fine it could be as simple as the purge valve or any number of other things that won’t stop your trip. If it’s running like shit that’s a different story. Hit a parts store so they can scan it and find out what it is…if it’s minor finish your trip and take care of it when...

High Mileage Explorer STs check in!

Nice to see the actual high mileage guys (100K+), which shows the longevity of the STs, Going on 55K on my 20' ST. Recall on 360 done, purge valve replaced. No major issues (knock on wood). Currently a daily driver, averaging 250-300 miles a week.

    When filling the tank up

I'm glad you brought that to surface. I always at least round off to the next dollar, sometimes more. I'll stop doing that.

Good to know. Thank you! Won't do it again

    When filling the tank up

Okay. Good to know. This is the first time I've over filled it. Just found it bizarre that it was capped at 275 these last two times. Thanks

    When filling the tank up

It will never be consistent. Anything could have effected the range of the tank. Also, never fill the tank up, or continue to click the gas pump after it stops the first time, great way to make your Purge Valve fail on these cars.

    When filling the tank up

It constantly recalculates…the real issue is overfilling it like you said you’re doing will trash the purge valve and you’ll be changing that soon if you continue.

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

Yeah, one downside is he is busy. Sounds like you did plenty of logging for the tune. He may be focused on the engine more than trans. He may have a different set of PIDs to log for transmission. I would reach out to him and specifically mention the shifting and see if he wants to log something...

Looking for 500hp, what’s the best plan 2023 ST 3000 miles

...and intake and he sent a revised tune after about a week of sending in a log. Going to do a log after I bring the car to the dealer for purge valve CEL. One thing that is slow is getting a response from Adam. I am sure he is a busy guy, but a week for a return log or days for an email reply...

    Fuel Inlet Issue

Yeah it’s Evap purge valve, did it myself. A bit of a pain but possible. Fix the code and issue.
