I was gonna say the same thing. My 20x10 GT500 wheels have an offset of +20 and fit perfectly.

Either size will work.. There are more choices in the 285/50/20 size... But Toyo Proxes are nice for the price in the 275/50/20

Should be no issues. I had 22x9 with +40mm offset and 275/40/22 with no issues.

They’re pretty much the same exact height as the 275/45/21 OEM tires. It has to do with the angle I’m sitting in my driveway that’s why it looks like they’re such a large gap.
