Forscan fog light as cornering light enabled

Would love to see a video of this. But I gotta ask, why not just run the fog lights all the time? If it’s a worry about life expectancy of the light, I would think having them constantly turn on and off would do more long term harm then just leaving them on. I’m by no mean an expert so correct...

    Catch can

do you guys leave it installed when taking it in for oil change? I would imagine it wouldn’t cause any issues. If anything it probably shows the mechanics that this owner truly cares about their car. Still debating on whether I should get one.

    Spotify question

I have not seen any options. Maybe find a good phone mount to give you those controls. Of note, you can get a wireless CarPlay adapter and they work great.

    Back up cam view

Haven’t seen anything like that. Couldn’t do it on previous gen explorer either. You’re talking about the ultra wide view right?

    Reverse Emergency Braking Assist

The car is smart. When you’re actually paying attention when driving, your foot is between the gas and brake. Alternating. If that’s happening as you approach things, it doesn’t need to activate it. At least that’s what I’ve figured out in my experience. I can never activate these things on...

    Reverse Emergency Braking Assist

I have had no issues with mine. I had it activate once when I was backing up and there was a pile of fresh snow behind me. It worked for sure. Almost made me crap myself haha it’s such a jarring experience.

    Rear end damage

Do you know what they informed their dealer in regards to the matter? Still waiting for ford to tweet me back lol

    Selling SHO, buying ST.

Thanks. It seems whoever is in charge of zfg tunes is very in with the community and is always willing to help. As someone new to all of this, that is important to me as I’m sure I’ll have tons of questions.

    Rear end damage

All the 2022 STs have the 3 bolt design. From what I have seen.

New Gibson axle-back kit in the works

It’s been close to 10 years since I installed axle back exhaust in my mustang GT, but I didn’t have to cut anything with that install. I’m reading that you have to do it with this. Not something I necessarily want to try. Not sure I even have the tools to do it. I thought axle back installs...

    Oil catch cans

I can’t find the JLT catch can anymore. All links lead to a error page. Has anyone tried the J&L catch can?

    Catch can

Following. I remember reading about this before I actually had my st and now I’m wondering if it’s something I should actually bother with. I did watch a video on the upr one and I’m not trying to drill holes. when I searched the jlt website, I couldn’t find any parts for the explorer st. I...

    Rear end damage

I’m guessing it takes a significant amount of abuse to actually break this. Exception being the rare incident where it breaks easily for whatever reason. Just like anything can break in a car but 99% of people won’t have an issue. I could be wrong. But I’m guessing that’s why ford is okay with...

    Rear end damage

Yeah I see. Isn’t there a rubber bearing around the bolt? Isn’t it reasonable to just monitor that rubber piece? And if it starts to break/push in, bring it into ford and say this bolt will be breaking soon.

    Rear end damage

I mean ultimately they had to of done testing to come to these conclusions right? I mean one year you do 4 bolts. Then decide 3 is appropriate. How do you come to that conclusion? I know it’s about saving money but they also can’t possibly risk such a delegate part of the drivetrain.

    Rear end damage

That makes a ton of sense. Will do! Thanks.
