    Flasher Module

Download to module was pretty simple. They email you the file, you transfer it to a jump drive & then plug it into the flasher module. There’s a little sequence you have to follow but it’s easy. I swapped out the rear amber turn signals for red LEDs. It has a nice red/white flash from the...

    Flasher Module

Yes, tucking the wires was a little bit of a pain. You kind of have to get creative where you place everything. I used Velcro cable ties to keep everything in place. One thing to look out for… I am a volunteer EMT for our local village so I use these flashers when responding to calls. There...

    3D Print file

This has been something that’s been on the back burner to design & print. Just been too busy with life to really take the time out of my day to finish. I did a quick mockup in Inventor 25. I was able to fit it in two parts on our FX20 at work. I’d have to split it in 3 parts to print on my...

    Flasher Module

My goal is a plug & play solution to flash the DRLs, taillights, marker lights, etc with the push of a button. I’m an EMT & we respond to emergencies with our personal vehicles. There’s a few companies that offer these modules like Speed Turtle, Z-Flash, etc. and they support most current...

    Phone slot mount?

If anyone has a 3D printer or knows of someone with one, and is looking for a wireless charger/mount, I added a file to Thingiverse for a MagSafe charger. It swivels so the driver or passenger can use it. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6221831

    Flasher Module

I’ve been looking high & low for a plug-in headlight/taillight flasher module for this gen Explorer and it doesn’t appear anyone makes one. I am aware that there’s companies that can install them but I’m specifically looking for something plug & play like a Speed Turtle. Anyone know why...

    Program new key fob

I programmed one (a third) myself but I had the two original FOBs with me. I’m not sure about the process if you only have one though.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

Anyone know what this update is for? I thought I was all up to date with Sync & NAV, then this started to download. 4U5T-14G421-CEF_1682461522000.TAR.GZ

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

I wasn’t sure if it’s anything like GM where they roll out the updates incrementally.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

The vehicle is saying that it’s on 21194. Ford website says the same.

    New Sync 3 Version 3.4.22251

So mine is at 21194 & it’s saying that the software is up to date. Is there anything I need to do to initiate the update?

    New SYNC Update 23188

    Sounds good, thank you.

    New SYNC Update 23188

Apologies if this is a dumb question but I’m relatively new at this Sync & Forscan stuff… If I made some modifications in Forscan, can I still update the Sync 3 software or do I need to revert back to the “As Built” in Forscan before doing a Sync update?
