Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

You really do have the worst luck! Just put one of your old wheels against the front left wheel and try the relearn process to see if you get a honk. Also, make sure you don't have any electronics plugged in.

    Skid Plate and Underbody Hardware

While under the car I noticed several of the plastic harware holding the underbody panel on were missing. I know I've seen this posted about but I couldn't find the details I'm looking for. I know I need stainles M6 nylon lock nuts and fender washers but what's the thread pitch?. Are these the...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

You seem to have a problem getting your point across. "ANY" 315MHz TPMS sensor "WILL" work (whether from ebay or Amazon) provided they are not defective, broken, or inyour case, have dead batteries. As for your question about metal sensors vs rubber, again, it depends on quality. The ones you...

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

That should do the trick. Just branded under a different name.

Down sizing from stock 21" wheel to 20"

I'm not sure about the caliper clearance but isn't a 295 a little wide for a 9" rim?

Tpms relearn 2020 ford explorer st / black wheel

Hmmmm, from what I've read in other posts, a relearn tool isn't necessary. They say the car will automatically relearn the sensors once you've driven a little ways. I had my rims and tires put on at a shop and I don't know if they used a tool or if the TPMS reset by itself. I'm getting ready to...

    Rude Awakening On Rims Today!

Nice to see you finally made it across the finish line! Must feel good to have this done. Post a picture down the side so we can see how they sit in the wheel wells.

    20" Tires

I didn't buy them yet. I'm not in a big hurry so I'm still waiting.

    '21 Ecoboost Motor

Will an SCT handheld work? Yes. Is it the best option? No! A lot of the tunes for these are what's called "canned" tunes. They are not specific to your car and your mods. Some of them don't even address any transmission tuning. Not all of them are like this but the majority are. I can't speak...

    50K Mile Service

I have a K&N cabin filter and S&B intake filters. I clean those at every oil change. Good point though. I was thinking about re-greasing the rear axle splines or do you think they are fine? I had them done at around 30K miles.

Detergent spillage, reason to be concerned?

Those pieces should pop right out.

    50K Mile Service

I'm just about to turn 50K miles on the odometer and want to go through car. I'm going to change the fluids in the front/rear differentials and PTU, change the struts/shocks and change the spark plugs. The transmission was already done so that's good and oil is done every 5K. I'm planning to use...

    Rude Awakening On Rims Today!

When you measure the hub bore, make sure you are measuring to the inside of the bevel on the mounting face. Pulling a wheel off and test fitting a rim is a sure fire way of knowing though. When you measured the offset was it excatly +25mm or just close? You want the rim on a hard flat surface...

    20" Tires

I have the Toyo's on now and got about 12K miles on them. They are ok but they are not too good in the rain and they suck in the snow. I have another set of rims that I'm looking to put tires on. I'm selling the rims that are on now to someone I know. I still haven't decided on tires yet. The...

    McGard vs Gorilla

Are Gorilla spline drive lug nuts any good? I have the McGard black lug nuts now but have to oportunity to grab the Gorilla's for free. I had to bail out a buddy once when he had a flat tire and his spline drive socket split on him. I don't want to get in the same situation.

Considering a 2021 ST with 34K - Should I avoid because of intake recall 24S55?

Welcome to the forum. I wouldn't let that stop me from buying it. It's only happened a few times and as said above it was the Bronco. There is a TSB on it so they should have been able to tell you that.
