Well in addition to the rattles, My dash gauge screen random flickers now and Im getting a rattle on cold start on the outside (guessing flex pipe)....Not sure how much longer I will hold on to it. It has been a pleasure to drive.....just really getting nervous on the random quality issues

Thanks I just seen as well..I think something is loose in the passenger seat either lumbar components or the massage seat components. Guess to the dealer for that one

Thanks , I checked for all loose items. The passenger seat seams to be with the lumbar section…I pushed on it while driving over a bumpy road and it stops but when you stop pushing on the lumbar section the noise comes back. It just sucks for such a great vehicle to have these small little noise...

True…also not all PIU are the 3.0l….most in my area are hybrid.

He just stated the ST was going , but I guess time will tell. I did do a quick search and it does appear a EV explorer is coming. I also think some of the model lineup/trims will change just because of the epa law that takes effect in 2025.

I was at my dealer ordering the cargo tray and I was talking with the salesman I purchased my ST from and he stated he heard rumors the ST will be done after the 2023 model. He said a EV version is coming in 2024. Has anyone heard anything similar? If this is true the ST model is going to keep...

They usually won't, it is a very hard thing to get approved. Do you have pics of how bad it is?

CarPlay can use the vertical screen layout, just look up Subaru CarPlay (sure there are others was well), This is more of a Ford Sync development thing. This is easily can be fixed for CarPlay and the cameras. The Bad is Sync 3 is old version and not much time will be spent on it.

The extended coverage of the fracture is honestly great, this should give most peace of mind to not worry about.

So Is it a new bolt and new diff cover? You also stated that engineering said it is not the 3.0L versions breaking, So is it the 2.3L and Hybrid versions? I just find that confusing for some reason.

Thanks for posting this, I assume the only way this recall extends further is if an accident or injury occurs from the failing part. Also are the new 2022 explorers after the recall coming with the 4 bolt again or any upgraded parts? or are they just leaving as is and just the e-brake update.
