Have not noticed the recirculate mode turn itself on. Generally, I have it on anyway.

Does anyone have an issue to where the air conditioner is on (auto), everything is fine and comfortable inside the car, when suddenly the temperature gets noticeably colder for no reason. It gets so cold that I have to temporarily readjust the temperature.

I installed the console safe also. I went online and purchased some rubber/plastic caps to slip over the bolts so I don't scratch my hands or the items I put in the console.

I personally don't like using this feature. My phone (iPhone X) seems to get really hot when I use it. I know the phone is suppose to regulate the charge, but it just feels unsafe.
