Bluey! - the Mild 2020 ST Build

Wow! Same story! We traded in a 2018 for a 2022 Explorer ST. Our Raptor was called "Blue" - so we called the ST "Little Blue".

    New Pirelli tire

Great thread - thanks for this! Will definitely look into these when my factory Pirelli's are done. Switching back and forth to snows gets old fast. Especially when there isn't much snow...

Thinking of replacing the Pirelli's with Snow-Rated

Hmmm - after posting this I found the other threads about the Pirelli WeatherActive tires. Nice.

Introduction - thinking about an ST

Had ours for 2 years so far. LOVE it. easily the best vehicle we've owned. For all of CR's reliability ratings on this thing, we haven't had a single issue. We do bring it back for the recalls (there have been 2 or 3) but no biggie - that's "planned downtime". The Explorer to us is the...

Thinking of replacing the Pirelli's with Snow-Rated

Hello all, Regularly driving back and forth between Allentown PA and the Toronto area. Winters these years make it barely worth changing to snow tires, but y'know, I regularly drive through Buffalo. I'm thinking about replacing the stock Pirellis with snow-rated All seasons when their time is...

Ford Frustratingly Keeping Good Stuff for Lincoln - PHEV Aviator

It was a lease. It's also nice to get an effective 40-50mpg driving around on small errands with the PHEV.

Ford Frustratingly Keeping Good Stuff for Lincoln - PHEV Aviator

We own a 2022 Explorer ST. Love it. Best vehicle we've ever owned. Before this we leased an Aviator Grand Touring PHEV for one year, and then got out of the lease to get the Explorer ST. We really didn't like a lot of things about the Aviator, except for the PHEV powertrain. It was...

    Massage seats?

Also May 22 and have massaging seats. And wow this is by far the most comfortable vehicle I have ever had in my life. These seats are epic!

    Are Aviators Welcome?

We had an Aviator Grand Touring - 3.0 Twin Turbo V6 plus PHEV. Fast as all hell, but it was a bouncy-bouncy old-man's luxury limo - I hated it. We got out of that lease and purchased an Explorer ST instead. It really felt like an upgrade. We lost the PHEV (only downside) but everything else...

    ST vs Aviator for towing

Well, we had an Aviator Grand Touring Edition (3.0 Twin turbo V6 plus Plug-in Hybrid) and got out of that lease recently, and purchased an Explorer ST instead. We haven't towed with either (the Aviator didn't even had a hitch, and we just haven't had the opportunity with the Explorer yet) so I...

    Potential ST owner

Switched from a Ford Raptor to an ST here. I definitely miss the "driving my living room down the road" feel of the Raptor - WOW it was great on a long drive - until you had to fill it up! But I'm LOVING the ST. still very peppy, and haven't sacrificed much in comfort at all.

New ST in Lehigh Valley area PA

We had a 2018 Raptor when we lived in New Jersey, but moving to PA we didn't have enough room for it, so traded it and got this beauty: Has anyone else here tried the Ford ST SUV Experience? It's apparently included in our purchase.

New Owner in Lehigh Valley PA

We had a Blue Raptor, but it wouldn't fit in our new place, so we sold it and picked this beauty.

    Anyone try 19" snows?

got a new ST, and for this upcoming winter tirerack.com has 19". From the pics of people's 20" snows on here, there seems to still be a lot of room to go an inch smaller. Anyone done that yet?
