What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

Sorry for the delayed response. I don't notice any noise. Perhaps it's because of summer and the A/C pounding away, the sound system on and the SoundScreen glass.

Man, that's for sure! Even something as simple as tire rotations, they rely on what they're accustomed to or what someone told them instead of the book. Most annoying when the owner knows more than the service writer.

New shoes - Bridgestone Alenza Ultra AS. The Pirellis were down to the minimum. The tram-lining was getting worse, too. Forgot to ask - has anyone experienced a "wrench" indicator after new tires?

    Lighted Hitch Cover

Plus, the only driver who will see it is right behind you. The texter behind him is still in the glorious state of oblivion.

Rear Sway Bar - Steeda or AFE?

The instillation on mine cost me two Steak 'n' Shake double-cheeseburger meals. ;)

Thoughts on fixing rock chip on tri-coat?

I used "Scratches Happen" on my Rapid Red. Decent results on horizontal surface. I do have a door chip I need to work on, but the vertical surface has me a bit buffaloed.

    Gas mileage

Had that happen on an F-150. The rotor was glowing when the brake shop took it off.

Left foot? OP, are you riding the brake?

    Gas mileage

Funny story: I had an '88 Chevy 1500 pickup with the extended tank. Claimed capacity was 36 gallons. It literally sputtered to a stop at the pump on the way home after a long day. It took 37.3 gallons of motion-lotion to fill it back up. That same truck went from Binghamton, NY to Statesville...

    Gas mileage

That's normal, although not the best scenario. It's the evaporative emissions system indicating it isn't happy. My ST and the Mustang do the same thing. I know no other way to gauge fuel mileage, though. You can't count on pump cut-off to be accurate enough to track fuel mileage.

    Gas mileage

Interestingly, C&D shows it as 21.4 gallons. I suspect they measured it from bone-dry and included the filler neck.

I watched my Dad dig a stingray barb out of a guy's leg. There was no option to just push it through and be done. It had to come out the reverse it wen in . Here, it's deaden the finger, cut the barb and push it through

Mine gets 18-19 pulling my trailer, 20-22 normal (87), 24-25 on trips (93) BTW, NEVER let it get so it takes 20 gallons to fill it. Fill it at 1/4 tank. Fuel pumps are expensive.
