    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

I keep checking back to see if they ever figured it out. I can say that my Expedition Timberland has been pretty solid so far. Sorry you guys are still having issues. At this rate Ford will have a new model before they fix this crap and then they really won't care.

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

So funny story. I thought I'd drop it here since I detailed the rest of my buyback story. After the buyback, I swore I'd never buy another Ford, and just kept using our 2 cars to drag my family everywhere we needed to as a large group. 3 kids, 2 adults, 2 dogs, chairs and etc for the kids...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@orlando628 I noticed mine did it more after first start up of the day. So I left it over night for them, showed up in the morning before they took it out on a ride and went with them. I was a stupid hassle, but if they don't "feel" it, they can't work the issue. One tech said, "that's...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

Wow man, that sucks! I got lucky, my dealer was on my side and did everything they could, were friendly, even gave me a loaner for MONTHS when they didn't have to. My attorney wanted to name then in a lawsuit and I told him not to, to just go after the MoCo. Sounds like you might have to go...

I was hoping you guys would have better luck than I did.

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

Hey all, Thought I'd drop this here. Just, FINALLY, completed the buyback process, after $3500 in attorney fees and Ford stiffing me on $1500 of the attorney fees and the last years plate renewal. So it is officially their problem now! I found out that companies do not have to label is...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

Hey @rasparks0967 do you notice the center console "elbow" rest shake while driving? That is not normal, It was a common side effect in mine. Oddly the steering wheel was never that bad, but the console was bad... at least until whatever it was warmed up (or whatever voodoo magic receded)...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

I had my driveshaft replaced. The bad vibration was gone for a week or 2. Although there was still a very mild one we could feel. I hope that fixes your issue. We have decided to settle with Ford, they are screwing me out of $3500, but its that or 2 years in the legal system.

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

I hope they don't yank you around like they did with me. That was how they started. Do a vibration "test", they swapped 2 drive shaft components. And even though the vibration was random, they changed the tires and wheels??? I was excited to hear the outcome of swapping the transfer case out.

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

Thought I'd update: Ford says they are going to do a buy back. They said it at the end of December. Still waiting for any news. I can also so that I was told by Ford that they are dealing with around 600 claims a day. Is it me or does that seem crazy? I am sure some are bogus, but still 600...

@Stoffius How did your repair go?

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

Hi @MatL as you read, my deal did all that too. My attorney just notified me that Ford will be doing a buy back once I get them some more documentation. I expect this is where the real issues will start. It SOUNDS like they want to "generate" a buy back number. I expect this to be low and...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@Magnetic They might be trying to wait out the warranty, too bad for them I have upgraded it to 7 yrs haha. They keep waiting for the Ford engineer to to tell them what to do next as they have no idea. All I know is the longer they have it without correcting the issue, but higher my chances go...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@Stoffius mine issue only happens between 37-42 MPH. I did have a shake at 80 MPH, but when the did the initial rebalance that one went away. Let us know the outcome, maybe the leak is a separate issue, or a side effect of something else?

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@Magnetic that is great info! And adds up too. Some of us on here, including myself, say that the vibration goes away after a while, if a "sticky" fluid is cold it will do that and as it warms up go away. I am only guessing but lean the way vs the slack in the CV. Only because I have done...

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@Mooz80 The dealer has had my Explorer for over 170-ish days at this point... repair 1 & 2 = ~50 days and they are around 120 days with this 3rd repair, and still have it. I have yet to see anyone successfully get this issue repaired; anywhere on the internet. I would say Ford MoCo doesn't...

    2022 Vibration - Mid-Rear of Vehicle

I, and others have a different type of vibration issue than you do. You can see that thread here https://www.explorerst.org/threads/2022-driveline-vibration-37-42mph.3147/ It's crazy how many vibration issues the Explorer line has in the last couple years.

    2022 Driveline Vibration 37-42MPH

@Mooz80 I also have a hybrid and it does the same thing, even in the summer... after I run it for 20 mins or so the vibration mostly goes away or sometimes completely goes away. I can find no real rhyme or reason for it. I will add that SOMETIMES I have no vibration at all; doesn't matter if...
