This is, almost for sure, the strut(s)

Almost certainly the front passenger side strut... there are a couple of threads about it.

FYI mine sounded like a block of wood banging around at slow speed.

Mine was the strut. Lots of reports of bad struts. (several threads about it) Could also be sway bar links.

Me too. The only thing I can think of is without the stiffening mods there was some "cushion/dampening" now with the mods the movement is transferred to the body and more noticeable. Hopefully not causing problems.

Is it possible we have made it too stiff with the mods? I also have some sounds I didn't have before...

Yes, went fine. Two rear bolts went in fairly easy. The clip nuts were more difficult, very tight. Trans line already covered and out of the way. (2023) All good.

Finally mine showed up at my local dealer yesterday. They almost lost it but luckily I went there to check on it and they found it (in area to be sent back-??) BTW- what is the little fabric w/velcro and tie wraps for? It may become obvious when I install but thought I would ask if anyone...
