    Window Operation and Regulator Assembly

Better to replace both while the interior door panel is off. I can’t answer your second question, answer to the third is Buy Brand New OEM…

    Low Bass Sound During Deceleration

It could be the sound dampening panels under the vehicle being loose, the long fabric panels have crap plastic retainers that break off and allow the panels to vibrate. Worth checking as it’s an easy fix if they are loose.

    Rattling

I had a rattle/ clunk from the front of my 2020. Thought it was suspension related, turned out the hood prop-rod was rattling and would move up and down just enough to cause a clunk sound. I don't use the prop as I put the hood strut kit on a few years back and left the prop just as a backup...

    Lethal Mid Pipes

Thanks for the reply Unbroken, one of my neighbors has the same setup but a different vehicle and his are firm. When I find out what is causing the vibration I will post it in the Driveline Vibration Thread. Have a good day

    Lethal Mid Pipes

Guys, I have a question about the flex coupling in my mid pipes.. have the lethal set and have had them on for over a year and no issue with them. My question is how much “Flex” should they have? I can grab either pipe and they do not flex. The original ford flex pipes would move a good bit and...

    Rattles

understand, I had my struts and rear shocks replaced not too long ago and definitely helped ride quality although I was not experiencing noise. Hopefully with new struts your problem will be resolved

    Rattles

I had a buzzing/rattle noise from the front of the vehicle for the longest time I just ignored it. Found the issue was the hood prop-rod, I have the hood struts so I never used the prop-rod and just left it in place. Removed the rod and the rattle is gone. This could be the noise some of you are...

    Adaptive Learning Transmission Disabled

Hey Guys, I did a quick “Lazy” search on the forum and didn’t see anything so I figured I would post. I had my 2020 in for some service 2 months ago at the dealership, the body control module crapped out and had it replaced. I was talking with the service tech who is my next door neighbor about...

What Have You Done To Your Explorer ST Today

At 79293 miles today, replaced the struts and shocks with an alignment. Waiting for front sway bar with links to be delivered. Surprised I got basically 80,000 miles out of the shocks/struts considering the roads in Va Beach/ Norfolk are horrible.

    Clunking sounds while braking

Could be the collision avoidance system, try turning it off and see if the noise goes away. Just press the button on the right hand side just below your sync screen… looks like an Orange road cone on the button. I know when I am backing into or pulling into my garage my 2020 makes some noise but...

    window switch chrome peeling

Replaced my switch chrome caps with these and no issues since. Easy 5 minute swap out, if interested picture attached with part number.

I've got a Check Engine Light

All that said assuming that was the only issue.

I've got a Check Engine Light

I’m not sure about that, drive it for a few miles and should clear. If you have a tuning device, HP Tuner or Ngauge ect you can clear diagnostic codes or just have advance auto clear it.

I've got a Check Engine Light

Have you used a scanner to reset the code or erase it? Also, it can take a few drive cycles to clear it if you do not use a scan tool to clear

After putting in gas car hesitates to start

Should be fine just replacing the valve and not resetting the ecu, if you have a check engine light now, after replacing the valve it should turn off after a few drive cycles. I just used my tuner to reset and clear the code when I replaced mine

After putting in gas car hesitates to start

Sounds like the evap purge valve. Easy to replace if that’s what it is.

    Oil/Trans/Diff Smell?

Yeah, Cdubya is probably right… if it is a diff fluid smell or odor it definitely could be what I mentioned but the best thing is what you said … Get it in the air and look. One easy thing to check is the fabric cover that you remove to get the oil drain plug off, that was the first thing I...

    Oil/Trans/Diff Smell?

Could be the Hub Actuator leaking, it does not have a lot of fluid as to puddle on the ground. Look under the passenger side front axle where it connects to the front differential. My 2020 had the actuator fail and the front differential failed. Both replaced and no issues, the new actuator has...

    Trail rash

Sounds like you need a DA polisher and some light cut polish unless the scratches are down into the base coat but that doesn’t seem to be the case per your post. You can also have a Detailer take care of it for a reasonable price if you don’t feel comfortable polishing but, it’s really easy to...

Front end screeching/grinding noise - WTH is this?

Sounds similar to what I was experiencing, for my ST it was the Hub Actuator for the front drivers side intermediate shaft. Crap design, they replaced last week with the new design and no more noises or issues. Before this failed the front differential had a bearing crap out, it did display a...
