2 Dead 2025 ST’s in 8 Weeks

Don’t typically complain publicly, but given the experience with this vehicle it’s hard to contain the frustration. We had the first ST for about 10 days before electrical challenges had it back at the dealer for quite a while. These challenges could not be diagnosed and resolved so the dealership made it right and replaced it with another identical ST. Hey, good for us right? Well actually no. Today after having the new new ST for 5 weeks while driving today it completely died. We lost braking, steering and every other function. Luckily we were on a local road with limited traffic and were able to glide to safe stop. There was zero electrical power so no flashers, no door unlocks, no access to the way back without seat gymnastics. We checked the battery terminal connections and all visible wiring. We then tried a jump pack which didn’t do anything. Ford Pass app says it’s still running. Ford roadside came and towed it off for diagnosis and hopeful fixing. I’m hesitant to let my wife drive it because I don’t trust the vehicle. Imagine if she was on the interstate or approaching a busy intersection and this happened. I’m a patient person, but 2 new vehicles both with significant electrical problems has me questioning Ford quality. Stay safe everyone.

I'm a Ford guy and I've been bashing them left and right for a little whil. It's BS like this that makes me continue my bashing of them. Ford is so in the toilet. Run away if you can!!

I'm surprised at all the issues the 2025 are having. I was expecting better. Looks like I will be driving my 2020 for a while.

Wish I still had my ‘23… other than legacy sync probs, mechanically I had no probs.
My 25 sux. Ford is really turning out a bunch of turd knockers.

Dang dude that's terrible! I constantly see people complaining about rattles, electrical, cosmetics, and missing/broken parts but your situation is crazy. My first 1500 miles I got a failed tail light, 6500 miles a bad rattle in the engine compartment and around the same time I'm starting to get clunks in the suspension. Not to mention last week a truck in the opposite lane threw some gravel into my windshield shattering it and busted my front 360 camera. Replaced the windshield Tuesday with OEM but the camera is on backorder and its cheaper to buy outright and install myself than claim it. So hopefully (knock on wood) I wont have any other serious issues. I'm trying to be positive, I really love my ST.

Thanks for the welcome. I’ve had many Fords over the decades. This is the first line with as many challenges that were show stoppers vs just annoying. We really enjoy the ST when it runs properly. It’s almost like the 2025 redesign elements were rushed through testing and quality control.

What you said about 2025 being rushed is what we early adopters were saying back in 2020! What a disgrace!
