200+ days, but it is now official

It took just over 200 days from when I joined this site on Feb 10, 2024 to bringing home an Explorer.

After owning mostly Hondas, Subarus, Toyotas, and GMs for more than 30 years, I bought my first Ford in 2021 when ordering a Powerboost.

We were thinking about replacing our Outback and Odyssey with a new 2024/2025 Pilot, MDX, or X5, but once I saw the mid cycle refresh on the 2025 Explorers, I knew it was it.
