Hi Guys,

I picked up 2018 Explorer Sport wheels from a friend and they do not fit on ST with street package. They are 18" after market wheels. Apparently, the bore is to small for ST? Would putting on with ring make a difference?

I am hoping you guys can help me out.

Thanks

Center bore is completely different from 20+ models to previous models . Won’t fit

Does the 18" wheel fit around the big upgraded brakes from the street pack? I just picked up my '21 ST w/street pack and the front brake calipers seem like they might be a touch too big for an 18" wheel but i dont have an 18" wheel to confirm.

Plenty of us run 18" wheels with our ST with street pack. Just make sure the specs are OK. You cannot use the previous generation OE wheels for the aforementioned reason but if aftermarket, double check the center bore.

So stupid question, does the center bore need to be exactly 70.5mm on the aftermarket wheels I purchase regardless of whether I go with 18s or 20s? Also, if you know, what is the largest tire diameter i can fit without a lift? I'm thinking/hoping to go for 32"

Center bore just needs to be equal or larger. My 18" KMC winter rims have 72.6mm center bore and very thin hubcentric rings. Any place that sells rims can get you the appropriate hubcentric rings.
