Hey all!
I love my 2020 ST. It has just the right mix of tech and analog, buttons and screens. That said, the gauge cluster was a missed opportunity in terms of information and options. The new 2025 clusters have added features, such as the Nav screen etc, however it seems the infotainment in general has been upgraded all along. The question becomes would a 2025 cluster fit, and if it does, would you have to swap out the entire system to get the goods on the new cluster. Just throwing this out there if anyone has thought or looked into this yet, and I apologize if this has been addressed already! I didn't see anything in search.

I dont believe a swap from a 2025 to a 24 or older explorer would work. I am not an expert but this is what I have seen from other peoples postings.

You would likely have to swap the gauge cluster, APIM (the brains of the SYNC system) from SYNC 3 to SYNC 4 and the infotainment screen in the center.

Anything is possible, but that one isn't practical. You would in essence be downgrading from a Sync 4 system to a Sync 3 system, and you'd need the entire set up.
