I'm getting the generic explorer start up screen instead of the ST Ford Performance. It has the premium technology package and 400a equipment but I'm also not seeing any options for the ambient lighting or massage seats in the settings. Am I missing something?

You can change the Start Up Screen.

Press the Fast Forwards Arrow on the Steering wheel and Fast Forward Button on the radio. Wait 10 sec.
Speaker Walk-Around Test will play and after that a menu setting will pop up. I cant remember where to change the setting at.

I did not know that. My 4 year old ST has always had the same ST Performance special screens.

You can change the start up screen thru forscan also. You can put any start up screen ford has in their inventory on there, like Raptor, Ford GT, mustang running horse, Lincoln, or just plain ford blue oval.

It amazes me that anyone would want a start up screen for a vehicle they aren't driving or didn't even purchase! There's no accounting for taste. Most mods on vehicles make me cringe because they're so tacky and distasteful.
