Looks like a nice ride. Definitely prefer the looks of the ST way more. I still feel young in my ST.. this would make me feel like I'm 60+ haha. Hopefully the Aviator forums are as cool as the ST forum!

630 TQ wow.
Never thought this truck was that fast.
Most though have modded and tuned their ST but stock sounds like no match.

I was surprised by the Aviator Grand Touring...the thing weights over 2 tons, but MAN is it fast off the line. I guess the high torque and electric boost really helps.

You definitely dont see many speeding around lol. Usually it's an old man driving with a big smile on his face ahha.

I think I have seen younger people driving the Aviator too. It is almost too dynamic for the 70+ crowd!! However, I do feel
very young when I visit the dealership....except for the receptionist....she was only in her 20s!! lol

The ST is still quicker. Weight and gearing make the difference.

I seem to recall the Aviator Hybrid trapping 2 mph more vs the ST in the 1/4 mile. Still, very close tho and very heavy indeed, about 1k lbs heavier.

Congrats on the new Aviator OP, she's a beauty!

Thanks! It is a little bit quicker than the ST, but it sure weighs a LOT more. But the handling seems to be pretty close. Don't know if the Air Suspension is keeping it flat, but it is impressive for such a heavy vehicle.

Could be, feel similar in handling just much more smoother I bet. I was eyeing a basic Aviator Reserve at a local dealer but got a great deal on a fully loaded Platinum that was around 12k cheaper vs the Reserve. Was a no brainer in my case.

Very smooth and very quiet. But that is fine as the Revel Ultima Audio is awesome!

I only traded in the ST because the dealer actually paid me back the original sticker and took another 2K off the Aviator. So my payment went down!! And they already sold the ST in less than 4 days for $6k over the original sticker. Go figure

As you guys know, I had issues at delivery with my driver side headlight. Also had the squishing sound from the brake pedal.

Yes, it was fixed, but it left a sour taste in my mouth with the dealership making me go back and forth many times and not supplying
a loaner car like my regular dealer did.

So yesterday, I took the ST to my regular dealer Gary Yeoman Ford in Daytona, Fl. They are so great there. And I traded it in. I pick up
the new vehicle tomorrow afternoon.

I decided to go for the Lincoln Aviator Grand Touring. Hopefully it will be put together with much more care. I took a few photos yesterday at
the dealer before leaving. They are tinting my windows and getting all the paperwork together for a sign & drive tomorrow.

What do you think? I know it is not a performance SUV, but 496HP and 630lb ft is impressive. It felt quicker than the ST. It also has the Dynamic suspension that reads the road ahead.
Nice upgrade! Hopefully I don't have the same issue with my ST. Good luck with new whip!!!

lol exactly this. All the wood trim, and just overall styling. Definitely screams “retired”. I’m sure the quality is top notch though. Definitely for me though.

Sticker was just over $85k, but I got full sticker back for the Explorer and $2000 off sticker. Plus a better interest rate. On the bigger side, it is fast when needed, but overall MPG since day one shows 32.2 mpg. I plug it in every couple of days, and use hardly any fuel on my daily commute. And with premium at almost $4 a gallon, this helps a lot
