I couldn't find a correctly or incorrectly spelled ridgeline in the article. But, I'll say this, Ford will sell a ton of these. Interestingly, I remember being young when the original maverick commercials came out my parents bought two of those at $1995. Equivalent in today's dollars to about $14,500 per vehicle. An amazing value. Living in Michigan, there were no floor pans, or quarter panels left by '73!

Won't hurt the F150, but I can see Ranger sales dropping.

Honestly it does nothing for me. They did not do a good job of the front end at all. The whole package basically looks, as I believe was mentioned above, like a Honda Ridgeline. That front end is…yeah. I can see it having its purpose for people who need a light truck in crowded city or something, but otherwise it’s a no from me.

The grille is sort of "Chevy Silverado" like.

They just need to beef up the Ranger a bit. Now that they have a true compact truck, but the Bronco spec 2.7L in the Ranger (330hp and 415ft-lb). I'd buy that in a heartbeat. Maybe offer a Raptor or ST variant. If they don't make any changes, yes the Ranger sales will dip and possibly cause its demise.

Honestly the design looks dated to me. The first thing it reminded me of was the older 2000ish Explorers. It’s not exactly the same of course but that’s what it looks like to my eye.

A replacement for my Baja Turbo. Which I miss by the way.
