Having a hard time finding the right wheel locks for our new Explorer.
It has the 21-inch black 7 spoke rims.
It has OEM chrome lug nuts. M14 x 1.5 pattern. Bulge type.
I'm trying to find a decent set of lock nuts for it.
Can't seem to get the right ones. I've tried 4 sets, and they are all too long and stick out from the rim (exposed).
Having them stick out (exposed) makes them easy to turn off with a vise grip. (Yeah, I know all it really does is slow the thief down, but the wife wants them. What can I say?)
Want to find a set that sits flush with the rim.
I measured the original OEM lug nut, and they are about 1.5 inches long. Need something the same or close length.
You guys got any suggestions???
