Took the ST in on 10/30/24. I knew it was the cam phasers thanks to the folks on this forum and the videos yall posted. ‍♂️ Bought it new. 7000 miles and …….. You guessed it knock knock knock… Thankful for the warranty. The kicker….they tried saying it’s tooooo new for it to be the PhAsErS…. Psssssh I got the whole world at my fingertips…. They must think I don’t know how to research bahahahaha Anyways, still waiting to pick it up. Anyone got any insight on the length of time before it will be ready??

Depends on how good the dealer is. That sucks man that those went out, they’re very uncommon for this platform.

Got it back on Friday (11/22/24).

Dealer said it was unusual to have happen with this model year and that low of miles.

I’m just glad to have it back. The 4 Banger rental they gave me…… SUCKED!!!!! Lol

Said to drive it for a few tanks of gas to ensure everything is A OK and if I notice something to get it back and they will jump on it immediately!

I live in a smaller town and I see the folks that work there all over the place so I assume they want to do good business/ repair so they stay in good standing with the folks that live around them lol!!!

So far so good as far as start up and cruising goes.

Wife did complain about the steering wheel not getting as warm as she thought it was or as warm as the rental we had ‍♂️…..

Anyone know how to change the temp of the steering wheel/seats??

I’ll keep yall updated on how the Phaser repair goes over the next few weeks!!!

peace
