2025 Active Shutter Error Code - Fix?

This may not be the best section for this post but it's related to my CVFab intercooler installation - Admin, please move if necessary.

I thought I would make a separate post for this topic as I have seen it pop up sporadically in a few build threads. I recently installed the CVFab intercooler and removed the active shutters, leaving the assembly and the motor, and am now constantly getting a "shutter travel min/max" error code. Based on research it seems like some folks who do this don't get a code and some DO get a code...both scenarios seem to be installing/handling the shutters the same way. I know @skylercolwell is experiencing the same and is looking into the As Built information. I emailed Cobb the other day, relaying the problem, and asked once they crack the ECU code, to consider making this an enable/disable function for us - I have not gotten a response.

Any others experiencing the same issue and/or discovered a solution?

I heard back from Cobb today:

“ That is something we've done with the Raptors/F150's on our Stage 2 OTS maps so once we're into the '25's and hopefully make a Stage 2 map that uses an intercooler it would hopefully be the same thing!”
