The wife runs a couple degrees cooler then I do, and she likes to have the temp on the passenger "zone" set a degree or 2 warmer then I do. Sometimes her setting will stick for a day or 2, and sometimes it'll resynch the 2 zones everytime I restart the car.

does anyone experience this behavior? am I missing something? I thought in the climate ontrols if I hit the button on the bottom left I could "un-link" the left and the right front seat temperatures but it doesnt seem to stick.

This should not be the case. Dual climate should remain as long as you don't sync.

Are you remote starting or just getting in and starting it? I know that my remote start climate settings are pretty aggressive incase i'm parked outside for a bit (normally in the garage).

If you don't have them set to 'last settings' on remote then maybe the time it changed you remote started it and system switched to those instead of what you've had it set at prior.

Yeah, I was/am expecting them to stay what they were set to.

Chamorro85 this is me walking up, sitting down in the car, and pressing the star button. Same key fob, same driver, same profile....

I feel Ford has continued software issues leading into the 25's.. there is a known side folding mirror glitch Ford is aware of (I have this issue), plus I have glitches all the time with the seatbelt minders. I've disabled both front seatbelt minders (reminders) and sometimes they don't chime when the seatbelt(s) are unfastened while driving and other times I can't get the damn things to shut up. IMO, Ford can't get their software shit straight on anything.

I've had issues with my climate control too, but not exactly like yours. Sometimes my passenger side blows colder air than it should. wonder if it's related to what Caster mentioned about software problems?

On mine I have my climate control and seats linked together and sometimes it seems the passenger seat turns off/unlinks. However after thinking about it, I'm thinking that maybe it senses the passenger like the airbag does by weight and it turns off the seat when there is no passenger. Not sure if it is supposed to do that but might be something to look into. As for the mirrors there is something in the manual that says if you manually fold the mirror with the button on the door, then it will no longer auto fold when locking or something and you have to reset it somehow in the infotainment center settings so maybe check the manual and that out as well?

my 25 has the mirror glitch but my phone is having software issues intermittently, more often than not, with ppl not being able to hear me when I can hear them clearly. BTW, Ford won't respond to the software questions

Mine goes to the dealership tomorrow morning for the glitches I've found so far. I have the mirror issues and a similar issue with the lift gate. When you put the liftgate in manual mode, it won't stay in manual mode and sometimes it works in manual but most times it reverts back to power. Again, more Ford bullshit. I think they love recalls and quality issues because if they didn't, they would have their shit together by now. Ford is really wearing on me in a bad way.

Ford MoCo is aware of the mirror issue. It is a software glitch and is not a process issue with how you activate or deactivate them.

Well hope they come out with a fix soon. I also have my dash resetting as well. It's unchecking the pages I have checked, so every now and then I have to go in and recheck the pages I want. Thought it was maybe a faulty battery but I hooked my charger up to it and charged it for 2 days straight and charger had green light and then I reset the Battery monitor which is crazy easy by thew way (flash high beams 5 times then step on brake 3 times and wait for like 10 to 20 seconds for the battery light on the dash to flash), but even that did not work and of course Ford said they could not reproduce it. so now just hoping one of these software updates fixes it but last update was like back on May 5th or something from what my car says.

So, had my 25’ ST in the dealer today. They verified the auto fold mirror issue and the liftgate issue. They wiped out a lot of the logic and reset it all up including a couple of software updates that weren’t showing up in the vehicle when I checked for updates. Nothing changed and the issues are still there. Ford is keeping up with staying at #1 in warranty work. I buy Ford but at the same time, Ford totally sucks. Tired of issues all the time with Ford. New vehicle launch after launch after launch and I can’t remember the last vehicle launch that hasn’t had issues immediately. I guess when you find something you’re good at (#1 in warranty work) they stick with it.
