Off subject, but look at that finish after a very mild polish with Caliber Plus Silica Polish. This is probably the best paint job I have seen roll off Ford's line, especially Chicago! 20240825_175325.jpg 20240825_174402.jpg

My dealer installed the key pad but I lost the master code. Does anyone know where I can find this number without calling the dealer? My brother F150 had the code on the fuse box

Is the keypad integrated into the door frame like in the previous models or is it a pad that sits on top of it?

yes it is but it doesn’t come installed from factory which is odd. Once installed it does come up on the center screen menu. That’s how you add and delete other codes

Hi everyone! First time posting on this forum.

I just installed the Wired Keyless Entry Keypad on my wifes 2025 Explorer ST. Part # LB5Z7820555E I have went through the steps in FORScan to program, but was unsuccessful.

I am running the 2.4.14 Beta version.

Here are the steps I took to program BdyCM and APIM in the plain english menus.

I am using the vLinker FS USB OBDII Adapter on Windows 10 Laptop.

1. Enabled Keypad in BdyCM (Hardware enabled)

2. Enabled Keypad in APIM successfully.

3. Performed BdyCM Local Interconnect Network New Module Calibration successfully.

4. I retrieved the factory code by cycling ignition and swapping the 2 keys and it displayed on the instrument panel.

5. The option for adding a personalized code now appears in the settings menu. I confirmed the factory code was correct by setting a personal code in vehicle settings.

My issue is the keypad does not respond. It does not lock the vehicle by pressing 7/8 and 9/0 or unlock with the factory code and personal code. Keypad illuminates when the numbers are swiped and the red LED indicator at the top of the keypad lights up when each number is pushed. I also tried "LIN Enabled" in BdyCM and that did not work either. Furthermore, since the programming was done in the plain English menus, I verified the correct addresses were programmed with the correct values in the As Built menus by cross referencing with the most recent spreadsheet.

Since this is a 2025 model, I am wondering if something else is required. According to my 2025 Explorer Workshop manual, it says to use FDRS and run the LIN New Module Calibration after enabling. I also looked through the entire spreadsheet and the BdyCM and APIM are the only modules that list any Keypad options.

Any idea how we can get that keypad working? I appreciate any help I can get!
Did your window sticker have the wired keypad order in the original factory order? If not, what was the procedure to wire the keypad into the car? Did you need to do any wiring modifications?
I am asking because my dealer isn't sure if this can be added to a 2025 ST that was not ordered with this option to be installed at the dealership.

The Dealer for sure can install it and will have to activate it in FDRS. Install requires taking the door card off, disconnecting the window and all the trim. I did it myself and paid $50 for 2 day access to FDRS. Comes with detailed instructions. Was not hard at all. You will need the mongoose cable for FDRS. Grab it on amazon.

Thanks! How long did the FDRS activation process take? Just thinking if I'll need a power outlet nearby to have a battery charger attached to the 12v car battery

The programming took less than 5 minutes once connected to the vehicle and logged into FDRS. It is always good practice to have a Power Supply connected to the Battery for any updates, just to play it safe.

Could you possibly post the installation instructions? I am considering this as my dealer is unsure about doing it.
thanks
