Just purchased a 2025 ST-Line and periodically I keep hearing a "fan noise" coming from the dash. It doesn't do it all the time, and for some reason it didn't do it at all during the test drive. When I was driving off the lot it started and so i had the salesman listen. of course, no idea from him. Yesterday I drove for about 45 min, and it made the noise continually. It sounds like a reasonably loud fan noise, that seems like it's coming from around the air vents in the dash. I started it up this morning and it didn't make any noise. Anyone else hearing this, or have experienced it? I'm taking it back to the dealer and have them tell me something. I'll keep you posted.
Thank you all!
Update
So now the buzzing sound is going on all the time. It doesn't start when you turn the car on, but after you start driving its all the time. I also noticed that when I press down on the area where you place your phone, that the tone of the buzzing sound changes. Going back to the dealer today.
I would sure like to know if any other 2025 ST are making this sound, I wonder how many other cars are going to end up with this issue.
One more update on buzzing/fan sound coming from dash, took it to the dealer and they dont hear anything, so cannot fix anything. I drove it and just a few miles down the road it started, by the time I got to the dealer so the service dept. could hear it, the noise stopped. Good grief! Took it home and no noise all the way home and no noise. Checked in the driveway and it started again, very frustrating. There cannot be that many things that it could be, I would think someone would know at least something that could be making the noise? My next step is Ford Motor Company, someone has to have some idea what could be making this sound. I guess no one else is experiencing this issue with the 2025 ST?? No point in a warranty, always the same thing, can't diagnose something they won't help.
One more update
We had to figure out the issue ourselves. We just happened on the issue, it's the charging pad. When we would put our phone on it then after about a min the humming/buzzing sound started. As soon as we took the phone off it immediately stopped. The car is back in the shop (with only 215 miles on it) and hopefully they can resolve the issue. I was able to demonstrate to the tech where and what the problem was. I'll keep this post updated, as I'm sure our car is not the only one with this issue. I am surprised no one else has responded with similar issues with the charging pad. Maybe this will bring a few searches now that I mentioned the charging pad.
Thank you!

After solving the issue for the Ford Dealership, they finally narrowed it down to a wiring issue, and now the noise is gone, and everything works fine. I guess I'm the only person that this has happened to, but of course it is a 2025 model so we shall see.
Hope this helps if someone else confronts this issue.
Thank you all!
