I have a 2025 Ford Explorer ST and sometimes it feels like I'm sitting on cables. Doesn't seem like a lot of cushion on the bottom portion of the seat.

Has anybody else experienced this?

Yea same but I figured its because I have a boney arse. My old 21 felt better though. But after all the other issues that got resolved I'm not to worried about a seat until it becomes a bigger problem.

Do you both have the massaging seats? Because I don't, and my seats are excellent. No complaints.
Maybe the " cable feeling" has something to do with the massaging components.

Yea I do and now that you mention it I'm pretty sure that's what I'm feeling so no biggie.

Yes I do have the massaging seats. Probably the components but it doesn't massage the bottom seat portion. Guess they couldn't hide the cables anywhere else. Just wonder what will happen to those cables after getting sat on over time lol

There has been quite a few comments about the massage seats feeling less padded. I'm with SoySauce cause my wife thought it was just my flat ass, lol.

It makes sense they can't have all the padding if the rollers are supposed to come through the bottom. I guess turn 'em on more to relieve the feeling from them being thinner. After getting off the train those seats are clutch for the quick drive home to get the blood flowing again.

We have 2 STs, one with the massaging seats and one without. You definitely feel the difference in the seats (I like the non better). I have also noticed that sometimes the massaging seats don't quite "reset" when your done using that feature and you can feel the mechanism in the seat... it does kinda feel like cables.
