Hi my wife and I went to test drive a 2025 st this weekend and enjoyed the vehicle. The one area we didn’t like was the digital cluster gauge display. I’ve been in earlier years explorer st’s and the dials looked much nicer then what we viewed. We tried the settings and couldn’t find any options besides the center of the screen info. Could anyone with a 2025 confirm that these are the only gauge layout available on this model. I’ll attach a pic of the 2025 cluster vs what I’ve seen in earlier years. Thank you

I don’t know since I don’t own a 25, but from the reviews I’ve seen it looks like it just changes some colors in the cluster, it doesn’t really change much like the older models.

For gauges yes that's it. The RPM and Speedo can not be changed and as for the middle there are only like eight choices and they are: 1. Calm - which I have not looked at except once so I don't remember it entirely what it does but it takes away some of the stuff. I guess "Calming" down the clutter. 2. Drivers assistance - Why this is an option I have no Idea as it's the one used mostly as it tells ya all the lane keeping info and directions etc.. 3. Map - this one is cool as it projects the map in the middle, but I never use it as I have the big display directly to my right and also #2 provides directions as well. 4. Fuel Economy - Tells ya how much gas your saving or not saving when pressing on the gas pedal. 5. Trip 1 - Resettable Trip meter. 6. Trip 2 - Also resettable Trip meter. 7. Off Road Tilt Gauges - These are cool as well but unless your going offroad and need the see the tilt and level of your vehicle you will probably never use them except for the fun of it. and finally 8. Temp Gauges - however these are temp Gauges only for Tranny and Coolant and they are just a bar gauge.

I would have liked to seen Battery Voltage (you know since they have a nice big infotainment center and promote how you can watch YouTube Etc. in the car) and also maybe an oil level, pressure or temperature gauge. However I guess they thought we did not need those things and instead needed offroad gauges on a car that is not supposed to really be taken offroad. Unless you have one of the other Trims and not the ST version. So Basically the gauges are just a big "idiot" light and you'll probably not know you have a problem until the car tells you that you have one.

Oh also NO, the gauges do not change colors or the look with the different drive modes. The Instrument cluster is one area I think they really dropped the ball for us 2025 owners. Not sure if it can be updated thru an over the air update or not, but I doubt it.

That’s what I wish the STs had were actual numbers for the info. My Raptor displays everything from IAT to oil pressure to vacuum/boost. There is like 20 different numbers I can see on two screens.
