Hey ST Community!

I decided to take on a project this weekend and ended up making more work from myself. I had to remove the front bumper to install a new emblem in the grill. Everything went according to plan until I had to remove the plastic trim on the fender (needed to remove bumper). Unfortunately, the clips molded to the fender broke.

Does anyone know the part number or the cost to replace? Have no problem heading to my local Ford dealership but wanted to see if I can get them online for cheaper.

I don’t know the part number but I had a similar issue working on my son’s grand Cherokee the other day, local auto parts store had a bunch of clips for various models on the rack.
only a few bucks for a pack of 5 or so.
I found the GM labeled ones better than the Jeep ones. More of a push in expanding rivet type vs a thicker push in veined style.

Hey Fmoser, I appreciate the response back; thank you. Unfortunately, the trim has the clips molded to it so there is no replacing, like other cars, for example your grandson vehicle. Ford really made it almost impossible to just get a replacement clip and noe has these trim's with the clips molded to it as a one piece.

This is the exact reason I took mine to a body shop to have my IC installed. They are used to pulling body parts and reassembling. Cost me $320 but it was worth it!

Looking at them side by side I can’t see a difference externally. I’d call it worth a shot to order a cheap one off eBay to see.

I just received a passenger side for my 22. Ever since I did my inter cooler, one of the tabs on the wheel arch just wouldn’t stay in. Tried heat, bending, etc. Just couldn’t get it to stay for more than a couple weeks. Got annoying enough that I ordered a new one last week.
