I have a 2 week old car. Phone works very seldom. I can hear ppl but they cannot hear me. Same with texts. I hear there is a software push coming next month to fix, so they know there is a problem. Anyone else experiencing this? I have a newer phone and I've unpaired and paired again.

Try with another phone in both native mode and in AA/Carplay to determine if it is the vehicle or your phone.

I have a Google Pixel 7a and have no issues other than occasional calls going garbled on my end and have to switch to speaker and back to bluetooth, and it fixes it quick, but I have that same issue in my 2021 F150 and it happens no more than once or twice a month.

Got the same prob with my new iPhone. Have to hang up then call back. Hopefully they have a fix soon because it’s annoying as hell.
Never had a prob in my ‘23 ST

This is a little different than the phone not working at all, but might be relevant. I just took mine to the dealer for another problem and because the phone charger stopped working on Friday night last week (not charging) then suddenly it started charging again on Saturday. However I noticed on Saturday while the phone was getting charged that the little icon for the charger was not showing up on the notification area or giving me a notification that the phone was being charged. I took it to my dealer and they told me that Ford was aware of a problem but that there was no fix yet. I wonder if this is part of the software fix that might be coming next month that you mentioned? I do also noticed that the volume levels keep changing as well when I adjust my volume to what I like then a day or so later I get a call or a text and the volume is way loud again. So I also hope this can be fixed by an update and I hope it comes soon.

Some seem to charge ok and some don't and supposedly they know about how the icon sometimes shows up and sometimes not on the right side of the infotainment screen. Not sure if Ford will ever fix it. I did find a video that shows that the phone charging section pops out like a cassette using a trim tool and has a plug on it however I have since lost where I found that video unfortunately, but it was good to know that phone section can just pop out with just a tab holding it in. However until Ford comes out with a fix I'm just putting my phone on the other side and using a cord to the USB port in the front console as they have a little notch for a cord to come out so you can still close it and I just shove any extra cord back into the compartment and people say it charges a lot faster using a cord anyways.

AA uses more battery than the wireless charger can recover. On road trips, I have to use the cable occasionally to keep it from draining too much.
