Anyone had issues with the drivers side motor mount?

Took my Explorer in to have some warranty work done on my aftermarket flex pipes due to one completely deteriorating (could clearly see the spring and pipe inside). While they were doing their checks they said the failure reason was my drivers side motor mount being worn out with excessive play. No clunking or noise so wouldn’t have thought that was the issue… anyways has anyone replaced one on this vehicle and if so is it doable in my garage? Also, if you have the part number it would be greatly appreciated!

That’s pretty uncommon, not sure how it’d be to install by yourself, I’d imagine it wouldn’t be fun though.

Had to replace mine after the dealer stipped it out. Took about 2 hours but there was two of us and we did it in the shop. It's not really a hard job but doing it in a garage off your back will make it one. I noticed it while checking the fluid level after they replaced the transmission.

Crap, hoping it would be fairly easy to get to and not have a bunch of crap in the way… doesn’t look or sound like that is the case. Broosdamoose, would you by chance have the Ford part number? I see them listed online but they list as “left” side so not sure how they are looking at it?

Sorry, I don’t remember the part number. The left side would be the drivers side.

The left motor mount needs to come out to replace the FADA. FordBossMe (youtube) says you can just support the engine with a block of wood and a jack. The service manual method is long and tedious.
