I just installed the latest ford software update. Finally they have eliminated the auto hold fault when using the key fob. Prior to this update it would happen on occasion however now after several days and many fob activations no faults. This has been reported on this forum and to my dealer since I received my ST over a year ago. Way to go Ford.

Did you install the update yourself or do you have to bring it in? I get that freaking fault constantly with my key remote start.

I use auto-start with keyfob and auto-hold hold is on at all times and have never had this fault in almost 2 years of ownership. I wish I could say the same about the reverse brake-assist fault and blue rear camera which in the past year has gotten worse. I used to happen less than once a month, but now it's almost weekly and sometimes every other day.
