Has anybody used the AWR brace? I'm going to be pulling a 5000lb. boat in n out at the boat launch n I do not want one bolt holding it on, sorry writing so much but it pisses me off that Ford didn't do a better job!

A lot of people have used the AWR. 2 others that are popular and Steeda and ID Speed. I would stay away from the Diffy Stiffy.

Going to refresh this topic with the hopes that someone can post their experience with either the AWR rear diff brace ($280) or the ID Speed or Steeda - (both at $499). Would anyone stay away from the AWR? Any known issues?

I don't know of any reported issues with the AWR.

I did a lot of research before choosing the AWR diff. brace for my 25' ST. In my opinion and from my research, the Steeda and ID Speed braces are overly engineered and overly complicated which also leads to higher pricing. Other than looking "cooler" I did not read or see any added benefit what so ever to either the Steeda or the ID Speed brace over the AWR brace. When I made my decision to go with the AWR brace, I was fortunate to find a seller on this forum selling a brand new, unused one with the specific bolt wrench included for a really great price that I couldn't turn down. For the people that purchased the Steeda or the ID Speed braces, I'm sure they work just fine.

I have a 21 ST tuned by Livernois performance with the AWR brace and tow a 21 ft, ft. sea ray @5000# pulls in and out at the boat ramp with no problems. I was worried too but the AWR seems to work just fine.
