Dude in the neighborhood got an ST. Stopped by to chat with him. In passing he said a contact he knows that’s connected to Ford Performance told him the ST tune is supposedly dropping this summer. Anyone have any details?

For all those hoping for the FP tune, I wouldn't be interested even if it was real. I have no experience with the latest Ranger tune, but the old FP tune for the Coyotes was crap and had noticeable pinging. If you want a tune, just go with a reputable vendor people have experience with here. 99% chance you WON'T have to deal with warranty issues or popping your motor on simple 93 or E50 tunes. It seems like ZFG and PBD know what this motor is capable of, so I'll listen to them.

I did the same on my old Boss 302. Listened to the most reputable Coyote tuner, he gave me a tune that was powerful and safe. Bumped the rev limit up to 8400 from 7500 as it's still super safe. No warranty or motor issues while I owned the car, and it was never driven gently.

This fits the 2020 ST Explorer?
Just FYI..

Ordered this from aFe Power on March 16 -
MAGNUM FLOW PRO DRY S AIR FILTER SKU: 31-10215 1 $56.88

Got this update March 25 -
Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, the Magnum FLOW Pro DRY S Air Filter you ordered is currently in production. We expect it to be available the week of 5/2/21. Once your order is shipped, you will be emailed the tracking number.

My only issue is that they already charged me. I am not a bank... :)

Thanks. I’m sold on ZFG considering the current landscape. This is my first Ford so not very familiar with FP. Figured it would be interesting to see how if performed considering ZFG is out until summer anyway.

I need someone to help me on here. Lining up my tune and I want to roll with the PBD 93 octane but keep reading back and forth about this uCal vs RTD and the RTD is on backorder and I have no idea which to go with. Im leaning towards PBD because of the reviews on the transmission side of the tune but I also joined ZFG waiting list just in case.

Running stock but will add mild exhaust and breathing parts in the near future. 93 octane daily driver.. not looking for massive gains just more of a rollercoaster daily driver haha.

Someone help me decipher this PBD stuff and just tell me what to buy!

Find or wait on an RTD...you’ll be able to move between other tuners at will easier.

So once I get my hands on the RTD I can just buy the 93 tune and flash it? If anyone has any leads on someone dumping one.. let me know.. but will be on the hunt on my own as well.

Thank you sir. I've been getting the itch to order something since Ive been waiting 4 weeks for my Steeda springs and only to get another email saying another 3-4 weeks! Anticipation is killing me.

Email PBD. It showed backordered last week but James informed me that they were indeed in stock but the site hadn't been updated. Ordered one and it shipped the same day.

Does anyone have a channel.xls file I could get a copy of? I want to do some logging and can’t seem to get much for channels to work on my ‘21.

Used their Octane adaptive tune on my 2020 F150 and the tune works great, just ordered SCT BDX with the Adaptive Octane tune for my 2021 ST. Not going to offer the most power but the best overall performance increase with great street drivability. Best part about he adaptive octane tune is that you don't have to change tunes if a certain octane is not available, such as when traveling, works with 87 - 95 Octane. The Adaptive Octane tune is an “overlay Map”, all the unique features to the different drive modes are still active i.e. Normal/Eco/Sport/etc.
