Well, the mustang is a built motor single turbo 4.6, 17-18lbs of boost so very applicable. I do have much lower charge temps than most ecoboost combos but I don't have the benefit of direct injection with the mustang so it is a wash.

I compare notes with a few of the local tuners and the only oddity that has been discovered is that the shell 91 resists knock better than chevron's 94. No one's power adder car is making 700+ on 87 octane fuel around here, unless they are getting most of their fueling from their meth kit.

ZFG 93....first and only pull of the day. No room to stretch it out to 1/4 mile. 2B8002DC-77AA-4937-9ACF-6B2FEB63BB2F.png

Ah ok thank you. I’m still debating on getting the intercooler done and still waiting on my downpipes to be delivered before I do the tune. I’ve used nothing but 93 since I got the ST.

Here is my time that I just ran. Borla S Type Exhaust, K&N Filter, and ZFG Racing 93 Tune. 4.3 0-60.

I can tell y’all without a shadow of a doubt...you need the Whipple intercooler if you wanna go fast. The stock one is a joke. 9D1E0988-B3E5-40C4-B543-8402C9E61214.jpeg

That is definitely on the short list. May wait until I get back to the states though unless I can find a dealer here in Germany that will install it. Amazing the size difference. How much time drop for 0-60 do you think the inter cooler is responsible for? Are you considering going to E85 or another fuel? Curious what you will run.

This has probably been said somewhere else but I can’t find it. Do you just turn of the one push traction control or do you hold it down for the five seconds to turn off the advance traction control too.

Like was said above...1 Time, stand on brake, bring RPM’s above 2K, and GO!

My best run yet on 93! Stock IC, 93 ZFG Tune...

My temps are much better than Unbroken’s!

There will be a bunch of 93 tuned ST’s in the 3’s when it really cools off. Good times are coming.

Agreed! I am knocking on the door. The trick will be can a Tune only ST get in to the 3’s on 93. I know it can do it, just haven’t been able to get the stars to align.

Oh it’ll definitely happen. Especially when the really cold air settles in everywhere.

Took the wife’s car to log yesterday evening. I wanted to see what it would 0-60mph with the first revised tune, first attempt was 4.44. This is a 91 ZFG tune and intercooler. I know most will be jealous of this DA.

Does anyone know how long it takes to install the WC Intercooler?

Depends on how fast you work. Took me a little over 4 hours actual working time...and I don’t work fast.

What is your guys general guidance on how many miles to put on the vehicle before doing a tune? ZFG seems to be the consensus on tune. I have Borla S exhaust, K&N filter, and will get Whipple Intercooler and can't wait to get to ~4 secs 0-60. Only got 250 miles on the car and deciding how long I can wait :)
