Purchased this ST with just under 30k miles in November 2024.

Just got the JXB single diff bushing support installed last night along with a Steeda 12.9 bolt. The Bushing insert slid right in with the supplied grease. Also installed the Steeda vertical link inserts.

Replaced the spark plugs last night. Not too bad of a job. All went well. Gave it one boost launch and the wheel hop was pretty rough. FenFab Toe Links are on the way now.

Replaced the spark plugs last night. Not too bad of a job. All went well. Gave it one boost launch and the wheel hop was pretty rough. FenFab Toe Links are on the way now.
The Toe links, Vertical Links, and subframe links will eliminate most of the wheel hop.

I hope so, I’m still rocking the Cobb Stage 1 tune and she is hopping. Steeda Vertical Links are in. I’ll be working on the subframe inserts tonight. Maybe the Steeda front bushings for the diff if I have time.

Any input on getting a Granger Ford Extended warranty with what I’m doing? If I did the Basic for 75k/6yr that would cover me till 2028 for right over $1k.

Got the AWR brace installed along with some fresh 75W85 MC gear oil in the rear. Went out for a few aggressive digs. Tires like to spin. It’s too cold and my tire pressure is too high for any hope of traction, even just planting the pedal down without brake boosting it spins as soon as boost comes in. Trans doesn’t like spinning it seems. I need to check that fluid level soon.

If you are tuned and they find out (which they will) it will void your warranty. I have not confirmed this but I was told there is language in their extended warranties that state they have the right to void the warranty if performance enhancing parts are used on the vehicle.

Well kind of. If it’s an official Ford warranty, they have to prove that the aftermarket tune caused the problem before they can void the warranty claim. Can’t just void warranty because of an aftermarket part by law.

That's not necessarily true! If you sign the contract, you agree to obide by the language written therein. Here is an example right from the Terms and Conditions which can be found here:

e) Failures caused by: (1) alterations or modifications of the Vehicle,
including the body, chassis, or electronic components, after the
Vehicle leaves the control of the manufacturer (2) any part
designated for “off road only’’ that is not installed by the
manufacturer, including, but not limited to, lift kits, oversized
tires, roll bars, and performance enhancing powertrain
components; (3) tampering with the Vehicle or the emissions
system and components; (4) installation or use of any mechanical
or electrical part not approved, certified or authorized by the
Vehicle’s manufacturer or any Failure caused by after-market
(non-factory approved) PCM reprogramming;

This is for an extended warranty but I would imagine a new car warranty would read much the same. If they say your transmission failed because of the aftermarket tune, they can back that up with the evidence that it adds more Hp than the vehicle was designed for and that the vehicle is not being used properly. Now it's up to you to prove them wrong. You also have to make sure you perform all the service requirements and keep track of it. If not, they can deny the claim or cancel the warranty for that. I'm no lawyer but after I went through what I went through with getting my transmission replaced, I went and read the contract to see exactly what it said. I know it's not cut and dry but it gives them an out and Ford has a lot more resourses to deny a claim or cancel a warranty than the average owner does.

I appreciate it, I leaning towards not going with it as warranties tend to be a pain in the rear with mods anyway.

I do agree though, it could be more of a headache then it is worth, that’s why I haven’t modded my car yet, but I just want to point out they just can’t void warranty.

Got the OCDplug A/B/D Pilar PPF installed today. I was not happy with the way the passenger side A/B turned out. A bit of a learning curve I guess. I asked if I could buy replacements, so we will see what they say. I’ll post pictures once I happy with it.

Installed the Steeda Intercooler tonight. Make 1000% sure you reconnect all connections with a loud click. I had a parking aid fault after I put everything back together. Luckily you can just drop the belly pan to access those connectors. Seems to be working correctly now.

I did the MRT struts and though they are no-drill, you do have to cut a little of the plastic.

I used redline in my mustang, those required drilling. I’ll check out the MRT
