I messed with my driver side brake light harness and ruined it trying to install some bumper reflector replacement lights. In the process I ruined the harness, I ordered a new one and installed it. The brake light started working again but not the dimmer night running light. I plugged the light into the passenger side and it all still works so at this point I don't know what could be causing it to still not work on the driver side. I used forscan to scan for codes and it had no codes related to the brake lights. The only thing I can think to do is disconnect the battery for a while to see if stuff will reset. Is there anything else I can try?

Yeah, either disconnect the battery or using Forscan, reboot the BCM which controls the tail lights.

Disconnecting the battery for two hours solved the issue. Thanks!
