Can you turn off the enhanced acceleration sound?

It notes that it is electronically enhanced and it just drives me crazy. I know most will love it. Does anyone know if it can be turned off? I don't see any simple setting.

In order to turn it off, you have to use a tool called ForScan with a compatible ODBII to usb (or wireless) connector. There are multiple other posts in the forum on how to do this. I turned it off myself and there is still a faint engine noise / sound in the vehicle when under moderate to heavy acceleration...but not sure if that is still the sound enhancement being piped in through the speakers or if it is the actual engine. Either way, it is better than the artificial sound that was there!
