clicking after turning car off

so after you turn car off we here clicking sounds. it almost sounds like door locks going up and down but the doors are not locking and unlocking.

Yes, there are multiple threads about this. Seems they all do it. My wife's 2020 Corsair does it as well.

Yes, there are multiple threads about this. Seems they all do it. My wife's 2020 Corsair does it as well.

In the owner's manual (I can't tell you what page today) they say it's the sound of circuits closing down.

I thought for sure mine was turning into a transformer. I waited and nothing happened. Mildly disappointed.

Thanks for this info. My wife got a 2021 Explorer ST and her dash said it couldn’t read the tire sensors. I looked up how to reset that, reset it and the issue went away, but then when I was in the garage it was clicking intermittently. Concerned, I looked up what that could be, found this awesome site, and put my wife at ease.
Btw, this thing is badass!! Happy join a board full of knowledgeable fellows to help me learn about it.
