CLOSED: MAPQUEST Wrong (Current) Location on my 2025 Ford Explorer...

All of a sudden my Navigation (maps) has me 2 miles from my location. When I select 'HOME' it shows that I am 2 miles away and provides directions to my actual home. Naturally, I can't follow it because I am already sitting in my driveway (smile).

I tried resetting my system (hold ON/OFF Button for 10 seconds - causes a reboot) but still the same incorrect starting location. I checked on my phone (MapQuest) and it is showing the correction location.

Any suggestions?

UPDATE: Just noticed that my FordPass shows the current location that I was at early this morning. Apparently, FordPass is not updating my current location. Interesting...

Ford really dumbed down the location option on FordPass. A year or so ago it would give you essentially live updates of the vehicle location when you refreshed the screen. With one of the last updates, it only shows the "last" location and don't think it updates until you restart the vehicle. Ford site says location is now disabled when vehicle is in motion. Don't know if it was changed due to privacy reasons or what. Whatever the reason, I hate the change.

I agree completely. My FordPass is the problem. I have restarted my ride twice (went to the store..) and still sitting at a place I visited this morning.

I was reading problems with the last update. Geeez, it may be a Google Maps problem OR FordPass. Unfortunately, I didn't want to use Google Maps to begin with and prefer'd Garmin. But Ford decided that I would have no choice. So, I blame this completely on FordPass. Oh well...
