On the driver’s side make sure to check your connections.

down in this area, make sure they capped the intake since we didn’t get BOVs from the factory. I just used a 1” chair end tip and clamped it in place for now.

Lastly make sure the connection to the driver’s side turbo is on good.

I see you have a '22 also, how long did it take you? I still have mine in the box and just need to know how much time to carve out for the install.
the install took me about 1 1/2 hours, hardest part is the driver side turbo. you need a short wide mouth vise grip or or flexible hose clamp pliers (mine broke during install so added some time). with the right tools i can see it being done in an hour.

Bummer, by chance, did they cap off the bottom of the intake on the driver’s side tube? Like this or something similar?

@AtlasBlue2022 posted pics of everything you need to check. Throwing a code with this intake is purely install error. You DO NOT need to put it back to stock, you need to find a new installer, or get the 3 tools needed to install this simple part.

Again, the pics @AtlasBlue2022 posted are perfect. Open up the install instructions from the AFE website, and follow each step. Then reference the pics in this thread as they are zoomed in to the few places you need to focus on. Again, this is pretty simple.

So I’ve had the cai installed for over 4 months driven over 3k miles and I recently threw the same code. Trying to figure it out as to why now because all connections are secured by the way only difference is I have 2020 explorer

This is the passenger one
Zooming into your pic of the passenger tube... I think the rubber grommet is not seated properly. It looks like it is on at the top but at the bottom it appears to be pushed in.

Nice catch. I agree it looks like that grommet might be leaking.

So I figured out my issue it had nothing to do with the install I happened to have a bad purge valve which the dealer found so they are replacing it under warranty
