I spoke with the engineer at aFe and they are shooting for this summer (June/July), as the expected release.

Would there be any issue using the AFE bar up front and leaving my Steeda on the rear?

Will the front bar create under-steer? Typically in the Auto-X world you don’t want a front bar, unless times have drastically changed

It will if you don't have a rear bar to compensate. Although with all wheel drive and even with my Steeda bar in the stiffest setting this truck STILL understeers unless you snap correct to force it to break loose. The Steeda rear Bar is also 1" in diameter and 4x as stiff as stock according to Steeda. If that is the case, then that bar should work fine paired with this front AFE bar as it appears to be the same diameter but somehow stiffer (maybe Steeda over-estimated their numbers who knows).

Since I don't run canyons at the limit of my tires and I'm not really worried about understeer, the main goal of these bars is reduction of body roll. which it looks like they will all provide.

The front bar seems like it would be a bear to install.

The guys over at aFe have figured out a way to do it without dropping the front subframe. They will have everything detailed in their instructions. They definitely said it took them a bit to figure out the easiest way to do it and they believe they have it dialed in.

I installed my rear sway bar from Steeda this past week. I was able to tell the difference in the handling.
After seeing this post about the AFE production I had called Steeda and asked if they plan on making a front sway bar install and I was told, "A change in the front sway bar would be counterproductive to installing the rear sway bar." I didn't question him, but I still don't understand that answer. Any thoughts???

Lol, I don’t think so, but they may just not see a market or need to do it.

You don’t need a bigger front sway bar if a drop in under-steer is desired. A larger rear bar for an IRS vehicle is perfect, hence why Steeda didn’t bother with the front bar. The larger rear one is all you need.

Only blue? Does anyone know the specs of our factory bars?
It’s right in the owners manual…

I'm going to install the Steeda Sway Bar. Does everyone recommend installing it on the stiffest setting?

Hey guys, they were able to resolve the rear sway and instead of the ends bending towards the springs, the design has it running straight. I've attached a couple of pics for everyone to see. 20220425_160733.jpg 20220425_160742.jpg 20220425_160748.jpg

Also, I was speaking with the engineer and they are thinking about doing another color for their sway bars. They are thinking about red, what are your guys thoughts?

I like the idea of red. My ST is Rapid Red and that would look better than blue IMHO.

I associate the blue with Steeda, as I already installed thier springs and sway bar.
